Hungerford Town Juniors Football Club

Our girls section was formed in August 2020 , born out of the need for girls to have access to “girls only” football. We found that although girls can play in a mixed sex teams, girls often thrive and grow more in their own female group. The girls learn together and form new friendships, outside their usual school friendship circles which is wonderful to see. We love seeing so many come along and have fun!

We currently have 2 girls teams U14’s and U11’s and we will look to launch new teams once the numbers reach the required numbers to make playing and training achievable.

 

Our objectives is to develop the girls individual footballing skills in a competitive environment but most importantly, it's to enjoy playing football in a manner that is respectful and ensures fair play. Our coaching approach follows the FA’s 4 Corner model with FA & UEFA level coaching being provided.
