About Our Club

Hungerford Town Juniors Football Club (HTJFC) supports over 200 children in Hungerford and the surrounding areas. For many of our children, HTJFC provides the only opportunity for regular sporting activity. We have grown in recent years to run a total of 18 teams with players aged 5 to 14, and last year we were able to launch our first girls team which has been a massive success. We will be celebrating our 40th anniversary this coming 22-23 football season and we have ambitions to grow even further in the coming years.

FA Accreditation Status

Football leagues and clubs accredited by The FA have positively changed the football landscape over the last 20 years. They create the ideal environments to nurture players, coaches and volunteers. The result is greater diversity and inclusivity through football. England Football Accredited replaces The FA Charter Standard and is the next chapter in this amazing story as we unite even more communities by supporting Leagues and Clubs over the next ten years.

England Football Accredited is for all non-professional leagues and clubs. It helps them create the experiences and environments where players, coaches and volunteers can thrive.

Accredited clubs are more sustainable, more resilient and built to last.

Football Development

Football development is at the forefront of Hungerford Town Juniors. We believe each player should be given the opportunity for personal development. This also includes all our Managers, Coaches and Team Assistants. This is why we have a Football Development Officer.

The Football Development Officer's aim is to ensure all staff are up to date with coaching qualifications and to make sure our Club Officials are aware of opportunities for their continued professional development (CPD) and to assist with making their goals happen. This role also expands to the local community and support activities to allow the club to be more than a club.
